Since their formation in 2015, Biertoifel have (not at all) “secretly, quietly and silently” blossomed into one of the best German-language Street-Punk / Oi! bands. From their debut “Unsere Strassen, Unsere Lieder”, the follow-up “Skinhead Party” to the split with “Springtoifel”, every vinyl edition was sold out within a very short time! No wonder, because their catchy “fists up and have fun” style is simply “old school Oi” with lots of singalongs and rousing melodies. Life is complicated enough and quite honestly: if you want the world explained to you alongside all the fake news crap, or if you take every word seriously, then you’re in the wrong place! This is the world of Biertoifel! Here it’s all about friendship, fun and solidarity between punx & skins, pogo, party and skinhead cult with a little bit of droogie romanticism! And for the tenth anniversary you can expect exactly that on the new album “Spaß und Krawalle”! Of course, Biertoifel have also developed their playing technique with the 13 new songs and after not being completely happy with the previous productions, the band have treated themselves to a fat sound this time! The rest remains the same: No put-on attitudes, just “Kinder Dieser Stadt” and “Working Class Anti Heroes”! No ambitions to become a “Popstar” and the “Stiefel auf Asphalt” remain the familiar sound.
