After 7 long years and just in time for the band’s 33rd anniversary, the Dresden-based Partyhaie’s latest album, “Nobis,” will finally be released on vinyl for the first time on May 15, 2026. Fans of party-ready Oi! Punk paired with a few socially critical songs—feel free to dive right in with this album, and there’s even room to dance to ska beats with brass interludes. “In Latin, ‘NOBIS’ means ‘us.’ So the album revolves around us, around ‘Unsere Jahre,’ ‘Wir sind Dolly D.,’ and what friendship means to us, what moves us. A few socially critical songs (“Aufschrei,” “Zeichen der Zeit,” “Die Welt steht still”) are also featured, as are—as is to be expected from these party pros—songs about good vibes, parties, and the joys of drinking, stories that only exist “Am Tresen.” The two somewhat different love songs, “Rosenbeet” and “Von Liebe Und Tod,” should be taken with a grain of salt, though.”
